Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you use this website and when you ask us to quote or supply.
Last updated 3 August 2026
About these terms
This website is operated by PrestigeWood (ABN 18 817 875 919), trading as PRESTIGEWOOD, of 20 Fourth Ave, Sunshine, VIC, Australia.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the website itself. Any supply of materials or installation work is governed by the written quote or contract we issue for that job. Where the two differ, the quote or contract wins for that job.
This site is a catalogue, not a shop
You cannot buy anything on this website. There is no cart, no checkout and no payment is taken here.
Prices shown are indicative, expressed per square metre, and are a starting point for a quote. They are not an offer to sell at that price. What you actually pay depends on quantities, wastage allowance, subfloor condition, access, delivery and whatever installation work is involved, and will be set out in a written quote.
Where a price is shown, we will state whether it includes GST. If that is not stated anywhere on this site, assume prices exclude GST and ask us.
Product information and timber variation
Timber and cork are natural materials. Colour, grain, knot density and tone vary between boards, between packs and between production batches, and they change with age and light exposure.
Photographs on this site are indicative only. Screens render colour differently, and no photograph reliably represents how a floor will look in your room.
Always view a physical sample before committing to an order. We will send samples on request, and a sample is the only meaningful basis for a colour decision.
Specifications, dimensions and pack quantities are those supplied to us by the manufacturer and may change without notice.
Enquiries and appointments
Sending the enquiry form is a request. It does not create a contract, does not reserve stock, and does not confirm an appointment.
A showroom visit or site measure is confirmed only when we confirm it directly with you by email, phone or message. If we have not confirmed it, it is not booked.
If you need to change or cancel a confirmed appointment, please tell us as early as you reasonably can so we can offer the time to someone else.
Supply and installation
Any supply or installation is done under a separate written quote or contract, which will set out the scope, the materials, what is excluded, the price and GST, payment stages, timing, and how variations are handled.
Where we carry out work at your property, you agree to:
- Have the legal right to authorise the work
- Give us safe and reasonable access to the site
- Tell us in advance about hazardous materials, services buried in the slab, height or access restrictions, or anything else that affects how the work can be done
- Obtain any approval, permit or owners-corporation consent required, unless we have agreed in writing to obtain it
Residential building work is separately regulated in each state and territory, with different rules on licensing, deposits, cooling-off periods, mandatory contract terms, insurance and statutory warranties. Where those rules apply, they apply in addition to these terms and, where they conflict, they prevail.
Your rights as a consumer
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing on this website or in these terms limits or removes those rights.
Among other things, that means goods must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for any purpose we said they were fit for; and services must be provided with due care and skill.
If something is wrong, contact us at myucaus@gmail.com or +61 415 529 167 with your quote or invoice number and we will work it out with you.
Using the site
You must not:
- Use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights
- Try to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
- Introduce malicious code, or interfere with how the site runs
- Submit the enquiry form automatically, in bulk, or with false details
- Scrape or copy the site's content for a competing commercial purpose
We may restrict access where it is necessary to protect the site, our customers or our systems.
Intellectual property
The text, photographs, layout, logo and design of this website belong to us or to our licensors. You may not copy, republish, sell or adapt them without our written permission.
Content you send us — plans, photographs, measurements, a description of your job — stays yours. You give us permission to use it as far as we need to in order to answer your enquiry and carry out any work you engage us for.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another website, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content, its accuracy or how it handles your data. Its own terms and privacy policy apply.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits:
- Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
- Liability that cannot be excluded under any applicable law
- Liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity arising from your use of this website. Information on this website is general and does not replace advice for your specific building, subfloor or conditions.
We do not guarantee the website will be available without interruption or free of errors.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, including supplier failure, extreme weather, fire, flood, industrial action, transport disruption, or an act of government. Where that happens we will tell you and work out a revised timeframe with you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. This does not limit any right you have to bring a claim wherever the law otherwise allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a quote or a job is the version in force when that quote or contract was accepted.
